About the Mentorship Program

About

The CWI Mentorship Program offers early-career professionals the opportunity to collaborate with members of the CWI Technical Team remotely on a short-term project focused on CWI’s areas of work, that include themes of climate, water, environment, mitigation, and adaptation.

Mentorship fellows will work directly with a selected CWI Mentor to develop a focused activity or product aligned with their shared interests. Possible outputs may include a short paper, multimedia content, a virtual event, or another knowledge-sharing initiative within the themes mentioned above.

This program is not a traditional internship or research assistantship and does not include financial compensation. It is designed as a collaborative mentorship experience that provides guidance, exposure, and professional engagement with CWI’s areas of expertise and their expert team members.

CWI Mentorship Guidelines

Mentorship Fellows and CWI Mentors are expected to maintain regular communication throughout the three month mentorship period, agree early on the scope of the collaboration and the expected output, and work toward completing the proposed activity or project during the three-month mentorship period.
