  • Citizen science as a data collection tool and governance mechanism for addressing contemporary water challenges by investigating how community-led water monitoring initiatives generate local data and influence formal water management decisions, especially in underserved and data-scarce regions, as well as the conditions that enable the integration of citizen-generated data by institutions and for water governance.

  • Leveraging AI for climate-related behavioral change among individuals and communities by examining how AI tools can influence decision-making at scale, while also considering ethics, equity, transparency, and governance, and the conditions where AI can support climate action without manipulation, surveillance, or social inequality.
